Your Analytics Dashboard: A Deep Dive

A click counter tells you something happened. An analytics dashboard tells you the story behind it. Clypt's analytics go far beyond simple counts — here's everything you get and how to use it.

The overview

Click any link in your dashboard to open its analytics page. At the top, you'll see four key metrics: total clicks, unique countries, unique devices, and top referrer. Below that, the dashboard breaks into four sections.

Time-series chart

The click timeline shows your link's performance over time. Toggle between 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days. Hover over any point to see exact click counts. Use this to spot trends — did a social post cause a spike? Did engagement drop off after a campaign ended?

Geographic breakdown

See exactly where your clicks come from, broken down by country and city. This is invaluable for international campaigns. If you're running a global product launch and 70% of clicks come from Brazil, that's a signal worth acting on — maybe localize your landing page or adjust your ad spend.

Device, browser, and OS

Know whether your audience is on mobile or desktop, Chrome or Safari, Windows or iOS. This data directly affects how you design landing pages. If 80% of your traffic is mobile, a desktop-optimized page is costing you conversions.

Referrer tracking

See which platforms are driving traffic to your links. Is it Twitter, LinkedIn, email, or direct? Referrer data tells you which distribution channels are actually working, so you can double down on what performs and cut what doesn't.

Recent clicks table

At the bottom, a real-time feed shows individual clicks as they happen — timestamp, country, device, browser, and referrer for each one. Great for monitoring a link immediately after sharing it to see the first wave of engagement.

How to access

Analytics are available on all plans. Free users get 30 days of history, Pro gets 1 year, and Business/Enterprise get unlimited retention. Click the bar chart icon next to any link in your dashboard, or navigate to the Analytics tab for aggregate views across all your links.
